Numerical simulation of droplet evaporation based on the smoothed particle hydrodynamics method

Based on the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics method, a numerical model of SPH in multiphase flow evaporation accompanied with heat and mass transfer has been established, phase transition droplet is simulated. In this paper, an equation gas are proposed based Fick's law. order to solve problem large difference particles at interface during evaporation, particle splitting merging techniques introduced, tensile instability weakened by artificial stress. Besides, adding surface tension model, mutual penetration gas-liquid effectively prevented. On basis, single interacting droplets without gravity The results show that time study conforms D2 law within theoretical range. There great influence between process evaporation. Only when dimensionless number C (droplet spacing/droplet diameter) larger than 8, can be approximately ignored.
